thankful

This weekend was our one and only wedding free weekend this summer. I thought I would be really excited to take a break from the wedding world but to be honest, I actually really missed it. Thankfully we had a busy weekend planned. We enjoyed a baseball game on Saturday with some of our closest friends + then headed to the Island to photograph the 50th wedding anniversary of one of the sweetest couples on the planet...referred to by their family as Neenee + Grambo. It was such a special celebration + Mike and I were honored to be a part of it. These past few weeks have literally been a whirlwind for us. But more than ever I am thankful for life, for Mike, and for the best job in the world. Despite feeling the stress of meeting deadlines, late nights + early mornings, and hours upon hours of computer time, I can honestly say that I have never been happier. Having Mike be able to put 100% into the business has been the biggest and best blessing. I honestly don't know what I would do without him. Everytime I look over from my computer + see him working away, I can’t help but smile. What we’ve been believing for is actually happening, right before my eyes.

On our ferry ride over to the Island we snapped a few photos...enjoy!
